AIRPORTS: The San Diego (SAN) airport is the easiest and closest to our conference venue in La Jolla, CA. You may also choose to fly into Orange County (SNA) or Los Angeles (LAX), but you will need to drive 1.5-3 hours to get to San Diego, depending on traffic.
DRIVING: Anybody with a disability placard can park in designated spaces for free in nearly every parking garage. For paid parking, Saturday will be easier than Friday. UCSD has many parking lots, most of which have limited visitor parking. The lots near the conference venue are the Pangea Parking Structure and the Social Sciences Public Engagement Structure. Farther away but with more parking spots is Gilman Parking Structure. You can find the location of all parking garages here. You can find complete visitor parking info including fees here. TAXI/LYFT/UBER: If you take a car service to campus, ask the driver to drop or pickup at Torrey Pines Road and Exploration Drive. The driver can turn into campus on Exploration Drive and meet you at the pick-up point (a cul-de-sac where the red arrow is drawn on the map below.)
