The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs invites outstanding researchers to apply for an anticipated opening as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (Requisition #1400246) . The Postdoctoral Research Associate will support the Woodrow Wilson School’s programs in urban policy and planning, and build ties with the new Princeton-Mellon Initiative in Architecture, Urbanism, and the Humanities. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will also dedicate time to his or her own research and writing, and may have the opportunity to teach in one of Princeton’s related programs. Any teaching must be approved by the Dean of the Faculty. The term of appointment is one year, starting September 1, 2014. The selected candidate is expected to be in residence during the term of appointment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in an academic discipline related to urban policy and planning, including history, sociology, geography, politics, economics, or design. We are interested in interdisciplinary candidates conversant with humanities and social science methods. Applicants should have a recent Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
