The California Design Research Group invites proposals for a graduate student colloquium taking place at UC Berkeley on March 7, 2014. The colloquium is open to all graduate students in masters or doctoral programs whose primary research concerns California architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, and design. 8 to 10 students will be invited to present 20 minute papers drawn from their thesis or dissertation, with a senior scholar responding. Papers of no more than 2000 words should be submitted by Nov. 1, 2013. Accepted papers will be announced on Jan. 1, 2014. Participating students will receive funding for travel and lodging.
